Im unspeakably sad for your family after learning of Ryan’s death. May you know God’s peace.

This is, of course, a sad and upsetting event. Ryan and I worked together when he was participating in a management program I was running at a large tech company foc7used on analytics. Ryan was SHARP in a way that we all appreciated and respected. I personally worked with him when he was supporting our business in Singapore where he excelled. I feel for Ryan and his connections and family. Our dimension has lost some wattage with his absence...

I knew Ryan for a short time through our field placement internship. It was a career switch for both Ryan and I—and I can only imagine the excitement and renewed optimism Ryan had about the change. He treated me with kindness. My sincere condolences from one small corner of Ryan's world.

I was Ryan's Clinical Supervisor at AnB - his field placement. I had the opportunity to meet with Ryan remotely (Zoom) a few times. Together we went over a few introductory issues and had started to work together. I was pleased and looked forward to a productive working relationship. I was ready to help Ryan develop into a skilled colleague - than I heard the sad news. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to meet Ryan. I extend my condolences to Ryan's Husband, family, and friends. I support, from afar, in your grief.

All of us here, at Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center, where Ryan was engaged in his practicum as a social worker intern (Primary Counselor), are saddened by the inexplicable departure of such a bright light in the midst of a dark world. His electric smile and constant optimism brought healing to those he served as well as to those of us who served beside him. In addition, we are collectively mourning the loss of a treasured colleague and friend. None of us can even fathom what this loss is having on his parents and family. We extend our deepest, most profound sympathies and offer any type of grief or traumatic loss therapies to anyone in his family who would wish to receive them. These are the skills that Ryan had honed and was administering to his traumatized and addicted patients, and now we offer them to anyone affected by his sudden and unexpected departure. Please help us celebrate the amazing, positive changes that Ryan made to this world and to the lives of those of us who remain in it. His memory will not extinguish but will remain with us for as long as he should have continued to walk this earth.

Dear Letcher and Baum family, I am heartbroken to learn of Ryan's passing and am so sorry for each of your losses. It's been quite some time since I visited the Letcher household back in the summer of 2009, but I can distinctly recall how much love filled your home. A hallmark of my relationship with Matt and Justin is how fiercely the Letcher siblings love each other. Thank you for sharing that love with the world. Love, John Gallagher

Ryan made the people around him and the world a better, more beautiful place. No one should suffer the loss of a child/brother/husband so early in life. Know that the time he spent on this earth made a positive impact on the people around him.
