I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob was always friendly to all. He had a great many contacts and interests, he had a great understanding of the importance of our waterways and how we impacted them. Bob was proud of his photo/film work and frequently was the go to person for answers on how to shoot underwater. Everytime we watch a documentary we will think of him.

Hard to think of our underwater community without Bob. He was everywhere, really went all the way to contribute images and services to so many organizations. I can't think of anyone so generous, talented, capable, and with so many interests. In my years with LOUP and the UASC, really don't think we could have pulled off such great work and presentations without him.

We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to share our time together last summer with Bob and Claire. Bob was such an incredibly knowledgeable man and his eclipse information that he shared with us gave our experience a whole new meaning. Thank you Bob for all those moments over the years.

Claire- I hope our memories from UASC will help you thru this week. Remember the food fight- Bob was so mad, so was I. The best I remember was the time at 12th Street Beach the water and sky color and the water spouts that seemed mysteriously close to the sailboats! Taking picture of you all in the water and hoping the weather would hold! And the Tymm Barge... What a full life! Thanks for sharing your best friend!! Diane

Oh Claire, We are so very sad to hear about your loss of Bob. At least you were able to collect one more eclipse last summer. It was always special to encounter you two in the phone booth room at the CSO. I am sure you find support and comfort from your fellow UASC members. John Gerty

We are really going to miss him. We had such a great visit with Bob and Claire as they passed through Wyoming on their way to the total eclispe. He charmed the restaurant staff with his knowledge of the sun and moon and all things lunar. His bright light in this universe will be truly missed
