Paul S. Marek, age 67 of Downers Grove. Beloved husband of Deanne G. Marek, nee Greco; proud father of Julie (Grant) Ondo, Holly (Daniel) LaDuca, Scott Marek, Emily (David) Morrill, Sam (Brian) Piazza, Anna Marek, Grace (Jacob) Maurer and Luke Marek; dear grandfather of Drew, Hope and Hazel, Fred and Claire; brother of the late Don (Donna) Marek.

Memorial gathering Saturday, January 8, 2022 12:00 P.M. to time of Service 3:00 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. At 3:00 P.M. you will be welcome to share any memories, stories or words about Paul with his family
Per State Mandate All guests attending any indoor services are required to wear a mask.
Paul was never a fan of dressing up, so please dress casual or wear your favorite flannel (and leave your hat on) to honor him in the humble manner in which he always presented himself.
Interment Private
Paul was a model railroader, musician and a real Mr. Fix-it guy. A mechanic by trade, he could fix anything except small gas engines.
