Patrick Dean Benjamin

I went to school with Pat and his brother, Kevin, 40 years ago. We lived in the Lambda Chi house together for a few years. Pat and I, on occasion, would relax by listening to tunes, playing backgammon and smoking. Good bye, Pat!

I am in shock upon learning of Pat's passing. While we worked together for the Village of Lagrange many years ago, Pat remained a dear friend for far longer -- always one to share a smile, reminisce with a distinct memory about WIU, Lagrange, or the many mutual friends we came to know. My sincerest condolences to Pat's extended family and friends -- hoping fondly that all remember him for his warm smile, gentle nature and care for all thar he came to know. I'll miss ya buddy !! Pat was my down the street neighbor who loved dogs and good music. I'll miss seeing him.

Pat served with me on the Brookfield Planning and Zoning Board. His knowledge of community development was instrumental in many of our deliberations. He was a fabulous mentor to me and I will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace with Catherine and his Brittany Spaniels.
