He was my dearest friend we went through Morton High School together and spent many years in contact. He was wise and a great gentleman. I looked to him as a brother in soul... Rest in peace Miro!

One of my heros has passed on but will never be forgotten. I was always amazed on how many people he touched in our industry and was so proud to call him my Uncle. I could sit and listen to him for hours and hours. Your family in Canada is thinking about all of you during this difficult time.

Cherie and Family, Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss. Andy was a great mentor to me and always treated us kindly with dignity and respect. I do remember fondly when we completed the first Merlin machine for him and he called a group together and broke out the Slivovitz. After listening to the history behind it and then shooting it down with great anxiety (I still had 30 miles to drive back home) I thought to myself," What did I do wrong that would make Andy make me drink this stuff!" I knew it was an honor to raise a glass with Andy as it has been an honor to know him over all these years.

Andy took me under his wing early on in my business career and entrusted me to fix his problems with the RB-4's and RB5's. He gave Chemtech a much needed boost as we were just getting started. He was the most pleasant man I have ever dealt with during my 35 years in business. We would go to the Riverside Rest. and have the sweetest lunch a person could ever get, pure sugar rush.I have thought of him many times in the recent past, and will miss him dearly. He always asked me "how's your bippy". I love you Andy. Rags

Dear Cherie and Family, Karen and I were saddened to hear about Miro's passing. He was such a nice distant cousin to me. We remember your beautiful wedding and how happy you were to start a wonderful life together. It looks like you both had many blessings along your shared walk. Very sorry to hear of the passing of my old boss. I still tell stories of the summer that I spent working at NAP with the whole crew. Our paths would occasionally cross at church events, Andy always with a broad smile on his face. A broad smile that very much runs in the family. Condolences and much love.

Very heartbroken...One of the most fun and brilliant people I ever met. I wish there was something I could say Cherie to you and the children and grandkids. Raising a glass of Slivovitz and remembering Andy Simo. Uncle Andy had a huge heart, brilliant mind, a personality that filled the room, not to mention, a great accent. The good he did in this life is to be envied and modeled. He was an inventor, archer, engineer, business man, family man and such a great role model. Kindness, generosity and a huge heart and smile ... that's Andy. I'm wishing we had more time together. He lived life bravely and is my hero. Mostly, he was one of the most caring and wonderful uncles you could ask for. He always made you feel special and valued you for you. I'm glad that Cherie found him at NASA in Huntsville, Alabama all those years ago and brought him into our family. Men like Andy should live forever. They are just that special.
