Father Mike was first cousins with my mom Roberta (Ahlstrom) Paulson who has also passed. His words of faith were comforting and encouraging. He served the Lord well.

One of the last giants in so many ways. I worked with Mike on the Association of Chicago Priests and Deacons. He was dedicated as a Priest not only to the many parishes and diocesan ministries where he served, but also a great support to Priests both active as a mentor and as a reference to Priests retiring. He was untiring in his kind, caring love of serving others through his priesthood. May he now rest in peace.

I want to add my prayers and thoughts at the death of Fr. Mike. It was a pleasure being his classmate and friend. I regret I am out of town and will not be able to participate in the liturgy on Wednesday.

Father Mike was so influential in my formation as a deacon. I'll always remember how joy filled he was. He will be greatly missed.

I will truly miss Fr. Mike as I was a minister at our monthly Mass at All Saints cemetery. He always had a kind word for all those who attended. We always had a lot to discuss before Mass began. I will always keep Fr. Mike in my prayers.

Fr. Mike will be truly missed by everyone at Holy Guardian Angels Parish. We were lucky to have him at St. Barbs and St. Louise doing mass. May the Angels lead him into paradise.

Father Mike was our priest for our wedding on July 14, 2012 at St Barbara church in Brookfield. He was a dear and close friend to my family. Special prayers 🙏 and sympathy to the family.
