Lad, for all his strengths, always relied on his loving wife Patt, who even helped ease his passing hours. His strong voice and determined actions were an essential part of his nature. In almost fifty years as their next-door neighbors, our sons have remained constant friends with Chris and Scott, and we never had a cross word with Lad and Patt. His strong spirit shall live on in Patt, in his family, and in all who knew and cherished him. Gus and Renee Jackson
