Condolences
I met Karl the first time over this passed summer at Radiofest. I bought some mono blocks from him and he offered to send me schematics. Then over the winter I met him again at the monthly swap meet and again purchased another mono amp from him. I was looking forward to seeing him again this summer at Radiofest. Sadly he won't be there but in spirit I'm sure he will. God Speed Karl. You were a gentleman and a scholar.

Dear Sharon, My first meeting with Karl was at an ARCI meet in 1992. He sold me several Zenith radios which launched my collection of special looking radios. As the years passed, Karl became a dear friend to me. His smile, warm nature, kindness and humility made all of our conversations a joy. I called him "My Viking." He would laugh, I would laugh and all was good. Karl was a truly good person. May his name be a blessing.

To All, So sorry to hear of Karl Johnson's passing. He was one the best ARCI club supporters we could ask for and always helping at Radiofest in setting up for the event. He would always greet me with a friendly comment. We will surely miss him, and a warmest regards to his family. Yours Truly Rudy Hecker
