To Brian and Christine, I’m so sorry to hear about your dad, God Bless both of you and your families. I was your childhood neighbor. We were childhood friends. I lived next to the empty field.

I knew Joe and Helen very well back in the 1950s. I thought the world of them and enjoyed their company very much. My deepest condolences to their family.

Brian and Christine how sad this time is for everyone. I grew to love Joe during the 5 years of caregiving. It brought me great joy to watch him, cook for him, and pray with him before meals I remember he used to tell me "you're a great cook". It hurt me terribly to see him decline and even cried with him on the last day I watched him. I was able to tell him that I love him but Jehovah, our Creator loves him even more. He responded "that's nice, that's nice" He is now in Jehovah's memory awaiting his resurrection. John 5:28-29
