To the Quinn family I offer my sincere sympathy for your loss. I worked with John a few years at IBM where he always managed to stay positive and get us through some pretty demanding assignments - always with a smile! He was loved and appreciated by all.

I am sorry to hear the news about John and know he is welcomed in heaven as he certainly was such a kind person, helping our father for YEARS To get to Downers Grove Writers Workshop and Illinois State Poetry Society meetings. I loved listening around his poems and humorous essays of family life, some of them featuring his beloved

John was an awesome writer and mentor as well as an all around good guy. I am better for having known him. Loved so many of his stories... those he wrote and those he simply shared over coffee.

We're thinking of the entire Quinn family at this time, esp. Betsy, Julie, and Mrs. Quinn. You're home was always welcoming, and Mr. Quinn had a gentle, seasoned sense of humor that filled our hearts with tales of Mel Famin and the shaggy dog. Thank you so much for your friendship. Remarkable.
