Higgins, nee Fousek; fond father of Cindy (the late Ralph) Bucci, Al (Carol) Higgins and Melissa (Brian) Prather; dear grandfather of Tony (Maryem) Higgins, Erica (Mike) Kroha, Kevin (Krista) Bucci, Amanda (Tim) Schuda and Matthew (Amber) Higgins; great grandfather of Aubrey, Eliana, Corbin, Connor, Sylvia, Riley and Colbie; brother of the late Dorothy Miller, William (Lorrie) Higgins, Harold (Irene) Higgins, Jr., Robert (Marion) Higgins and Loretta (William) Butusov; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Monday, April 7, 2025, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 8, 2025 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st St., Brookfield. Funeral 9:30 a.m. to Mater Christi Church, North Riverside. Mass 10 a.m.
