Condolences

I'm sorry to hear of Geoff's passing. He and I were classmates in the 2008 CZS Docent Training class and became Friday docents as a result. I wanted to let you know that a donation of $471 to CZS has been made in his memory from his fellow Friday volunteers He will always remain a Friday Docent in our hearts

Geoff was an amazing man. Trained me as a team driver. Always kind. BTW, what did the buffalo say when his boy went to college?

I'll never forget the great conversations Geoff and I had whan he was driving the "Snowball Express" at the zoo or his insights when he narrated the tram. I'll miss saying hello to him at the south gate entrance when I visit the park. Peace to you, Geoff. It won't be the same place without you.

Geoff was a dedicated docent volunteer and employee whose love for the zoo was unending. When he physically could no longer serve as a docent he was happy to serve as an employee driving the tram for a time and later working in the entrance booth at south gate. He was retained on our Friday Volunteer roster in the "alumni" category receiving all messages sent to the Friday people. He was happy to participate in our social activities to the extend his body would allow. We were sorry to see him depart for FL but now he is in a better place with a new body. Rest in peace dear friend. You are missed.

The first time I met Geoff was at a Bowling for Rhinos fundraiser. We were on the same team, it had been many yrs since I bowled but he made me feel quite at home, along with some amazing jokes to break the ice!! I will miss his smile and his sense if humor. I consider myself lucky to have known this amazing man and I know he is already entertaining everyone up in the heavens. Peace, my friend!
