I am sorry that I missed Ellen's passing earlier, and just learned of your loss. It has been many years, with just a couple of chance meetings at Drury Lane more recently. Ed, please accept my deepest sympathy on your loss. She was a sweet addition to your family when you, my next door neighbor married her. Although we saw each other so infrequently in recent decades, she was always warm and kind when we would meet. Warm regards, Vera Jandacek Wilt

Ed, we are deeply saddened on Ellen’s passing. Ellen was a very special woman, she was fun, and funny and loved her dogs and family and friends. It was through her love of dogs we met and had a bond when Siegfried was born and came into your lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Edward at this sad time. Sincerely, Larry and Bonnie

No words can express the sorrow of losing Ellen. Her friendship meant so much. Never have I met a more sensitive, caring and more beautiful person. Ed and Edward - I can't imagine your pain and suffering. Just know that your friends and family share your grief and will be here for you.

Dear Ed & Edward: My heart is breaking as I text this. I cannot imagine not having our wonderful conversations and our lunch meets for the Lox Plate at Omega. Ellen’s love of life, her concerns about all of her friends and both of our passions for our dogs. I was lucky enough to have her in my life for 66 years. We met as young little freshman girls at Morton and formed a bond that only this could separate our friendship for now. RIP my dear friend until we meet again. My thoughts and prayers are with you both. Know she is in the arms and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. A new Star is shinning in the heavens.
