Edward J. Satala, Sr., age 95, of La Grange, formerly of LaGrange Park. Beloved husband of 68 years to Lois Satala, nee Vodraska; dear father of Edward J. Satala, Jr., Sheryl (John) Grever and Mark (Stacy) Satala; grandfather of Matthew (Bridget) Grever, Philip Satala, Laura (Nicholas) Roth, Adam Satala, Kristen Satala, Tara Satala and Anna Satala; great grandfather of Henry, Colin, Charlie, James and Emma; brother of the late John Satala, Jr. and Frank Satala.

Visitation Thursday, July 6, 2023, 3 P.M. to 8 P.M.; a Masonic Service will be held at 7 P.M.  Additional Visitation will be held Friday, July 7, 2023, 9:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home Ltd., 9445 W. 31st Street, Brookfield, Il 60513.  Funeral Friday 9:30 A.M. to St. Louise de Marillac Church, La Grange Park, Mass 10:00 A.M.

Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Edward was a Korean War Army Veteran, and a long time member of the Masons Sunrise Lodge 996, Scottish Rite, Medinah Shriners, Shriners Hospital for Children, Dobrovsky Club and was a Eucharistic Minister at LaGrange Hospital (25 years).
