Cheryl Jargstorf

Cheryl Dawn Jargstorf, age 61, was a lifelong resident of Forest Park, Illinois. She attended Field-Stevenson Grade School and Jr. High School, graduating from Proviso East High School, in 1981. Cheryl worked for Wiebolts Department Store, Oranges Records and later ADP, in downtown Chicago.

Cheryl is the beloved sister of Debra Jargstorf, Rev. Mark (Louise) Jargstorf, Michael (Deb) Jargstorf, David Jargstorf and Allison (Salvatore) Quatrochi, aunt of Kimberly, Rebecca, Bethany and Jennifer, loving daughter of the late Henry “Butch” Jargstorf and Linnea Jargstorf.

Cheryl was a beacon of light, always smiling, generous, kind, caring and her friendship was not only genuine but unwavering. Cheryl brought people together, family and friends alike, be it a holiday celebration, sporting event, music concert or stage production. She was the organizer and chief, but so much more.

Cheryl was a wonderful sister, a thoughtful aunt, an adored niece and a cherished cousin. She felt blessed by a loving family, a close family, a forgiving family. Cheryl brought joy to this world and as she leaves it, the sun seems to shine a little less brightly. Still, knowing she is reunited with her mom and dad, her heavenly family and her Lord and Savior, brings a warmth to the heart and a gratefulness for the time we shared together. She will be forever missed. May she be forever blessed and forever at peace.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. to time of Service or Celebration of Life at 11:00 A.M. at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 500 E. 31st Street, LaGrange Park, IL 60526.
