Today a man is reunited with his two best friends in eternal life. May you enjoy long walks with Fujo and rejoice in being with Eric once again. The world is a little sadder with out you in it. But for every life you have touch James Charles Vanecek is no matter how brief is better of for having known you. May your strength and courage be the guiding light for your family and loved ones. May your memory burn in with vigor in the eternal flame of their hearts.

Jimmy was my oldest & one of my best friends. It's a sad day for for anyone who knew him. My condolences go out to his family. Jimmy was one of those people that made a difference and I think that's all you can ask out of a friend. You'll be missed!

Jim you were a all around great guy, many great memories with you in Brookfield..we use to laugh about stuff..you always had a contagious laugh. Rip my friend.

Jim had an ability to see details and ask great questions about their significance. We had an insightful conversation about Genesis, Creation and Bible translations -- and it helped me to dig deeper into the passage. Thank you to Jim's family, friends, and everyone who made him into the special person he was.

What a flood of memories of fun we had! Jim was one of the few true geniuses that I have known. His death is tragic beyond words.
