Condolences
I am so sorry for your loss of Evie. I worked with Evie for many years in School District 105. She was a kind and caring teacher. We had many good times talking during lunch time and many laughs. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her as she helped many of the children learn English as a second Language. She will be missed. Sincerely, Kathleen Doles

I only had the honor of knowing Evelyn for a short time while she resided at Plymouth Place, but it was so obvious she was a woman of gentleness, I was completely struck on how soft spoken she was, the kindness in her smile and eyes said volumes of who this lovely lady was. I will miss her and our one to one visits. My deepest sympathies to the entire Theis Family, know her legacy lives on in all of you. God Bless you Evelyn.

I am very saddened to hear of Evie's passing. I fondly remember working with her at Hodgkins School. Her deep commitment to her students inspired all of us. She will be remembered by so many.
