Ernie was a great cousin. We grew up together. Every Sunday at Shutltzes Grove. Fishing, we battled a big old northern together. He was funny as the day is long. I was very sad when I heard the news. Things will never be the same.Great guy! Love ya man!

Ernie joined us once on a fishing trip and he will always be remembered. He loved to fish and was a good companion and a gentle soul. My thoughts are with you during this time. I am sorry for your loss. Doug

Ernie played the clarinet in the all-Cicero grade school band. He bought a jeep way before it was cool. He got it for an Alaska adventure. When he returned, his favorite phrase was "you're too tense." Ernie added humor and positivity to every situation. We had many adventures together. I will smile every time I think of him. Love ya, Cousin!

So many wonderful memories with Ernie. Life long neighbor and friend. His smile and laughter were contagious. One of the kindest and gentlest souls you could ever meet. Was always bringing joy to everyone’s lives that he came across with laughter, warm smile, and witty jokes. Ernie you will forever have a place in our hearts!
