To the Romo Family, My name is Persephone, I am Landon Herman’s eldest sister. I did not have the honor of knowing Emily personally, but I know without a doubt how deeply she was and continues to be loved not only by Landon, but by our whole family. Every time Landon spoke about Emily to me or to our sister Alysa, there was always a light in his eyes. She was, and always will be, one of his closest and most cherished friends. Emily’s kindness, presence, and spirit have clearly shaped my brother in ways that will stay with him for a lifetime. She made him better, stronger, and brighter, and that kind of impact speaks volumes about who she was. Though I never met her, it is clear to me how much she is loved, appreciated, and admired by so many. Her influence continues through the people she touched, and her memory will forever remain a blessing. Please know that you all are in our thoughts and hearts during this time. Quería Emily Con tu partida me queda claro que la vida es un instante somos instantes pero dejame decirte que tu eres el instante mas bonito que nos lleno con su presencia. Tu y yo teníamos un trato tu cuidabas a mi mamy yo te agradecía por hacerla inmensamente feliz , tu promesa me daba paz pues la vida no me permite estar cerca de mamá. Emily I thank God every day I got to experience a fun cheer season with you. Words can’t express the pain I felt the day I found out you were no longer with us. You have such a beautiful soul. Emily your one of the best people I’ve ever met and became friends with, I remember every class we had together we never stayed focused, we always had eachothers back no matter what it was. You were there for me and I was there for you. I wish you were still here and I wish we had more years to hangout and have fun together. You’re always going to be with me and everyone you loved. You are a mosaic of everyone you ever loved. I love you so much and I’ll always pray for you. The best tia, the best daughter, the best sister, and the best friend. Emily was truly the best friend I have ever had. Since I was a little girl she never judged me for who I am and made me find comfort in being myself. She's the only person that has ever made me feel that way she IS and always be my bestfriend for life. My girl accepted me no matter what she was really special. She saved me🩷
