Millie, Our condolences to you and your family. We were fortunate to have many memories of times that we spent with the whole family. Emil was a wonderful man and a very special friend to my father Dominic. The very cherished friendship that you had with my parents Mary and Dominic Acerra spans many, many years. We enjoyed seeing the all of you at all of the picnics that we enjoyed across from the Brookfield Zoo. We are praying for Emil and for all of you. We will miss Emil very much. Sincerely, Ellena Lambert (Acerra) and family

Dear Millie, Steve, Lisa and family, Please accept our condolences in your deep sorrow from families Mendel, Mokrý and Žember from Prievidza and Trenčín, from children, grandchildren of brother Anton and their families. Uncle Emil will forever remain in our hearts and memories as a big, wholehearted and wise man, who kept managing to bind a big family together despite thousands of miles. His life is a big inspiration for us all. We will miss him, thanks for everything. You are in our thoughts.

Millie, Steve and Lisa, We are so sorry about your loss. We have fond memories of Emil and the entire Mendel family. When we saw him last year at my dad's wake, we reminded him how he and Millie gave us a Ryobi drill which we still use at our going away party in 1998! It seems like God is calling home all the great bowlers in Brookfield. You are in our thoughts at this difficult time. Greg and Petra Schneider

Chrissy and I are very sorry to hear about Emil's passing. He not only was my dad's best friend, but he was my mentor and taught me a lot about construction and how to do things right. I will miss him dearly, but know that my dad up in heaven is reunited with his best friend.

Millie, we are so sorry that your Emil is gone. But not from our memory. As we believe, Emil is in the arms of Jesus. We hope the closeness of your family helps you through this time and beyond. God bless.
