I have known Bob for probably 40 years . He was one of those special people that would do anything for you . And one of those people who always had to be doing something which is probably why he lived as long as he did. He will be missed in this world Wish there were more people like him Rest in peace Bob

I knew Bob from my Bingo Calling days at Cantata. When I changed my Volunteer day, Bob became the Resident Caller. I’m not sure he knew my name— because whenever I saw him at Wye, he called me by his nickname for me—Trouble! So sorry that I won’t be hearing him calling me that again! So sorry for your loss!

Mr. Stephansen was a great neighbor and friends with my parents. I loved going to the hardware store with my dad. I’m glad to see he lived a long life and I’m sure he enjoyed his large family. May God comfort you all during this time. You have my sincere sympathies.

I did not know your father, but from what you've told me, he must have been a terrific man. I am looking forward to meeting him in heaven. In the meantime I am praying for especially you, Barb, as you grieve.

Your dad was the nicest, kindest person. He was the first person I met when I moved into Lyons in 1966. The hardware store was a block from my house and he helped me through many new homeowner crisis. Bless you kids and your families. He is at rest at the Lord’s table.

Please accept my deep condolences… Bob was one of a kind and he kept all that attended Bingo at the Brookfield Elks in stitches! He will be sorely missed.
