Richard Edward Yena, age 85 of LaGrange Park. Beloved husband of Phyllis Jean Yena, nee Rand; fond father of Kimberly Jo (the late John) Munch and Julee Elizabeth (Frank) Schlesser; dear grandfather of Nikolas Schlesser, Robert Munch, Elizabeth (Andrew) Board and Hannah Schlesser; great grandfather of Daniel Board; brother of the late William George (Jean) Yena; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Richard was a long time member of the Western Springs Masonic Lodge No. 1136, West Suburban Chapter of Royal Arch Masons No. 207 ME Grand High Priest of the State of Illinois, West Suburban Council of Cryptic Masons No. 103, Trinity Commandery of Knights Templars No. 80 KCT, Valley of Chicago Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite 33rd Degree, Medinah Shriners, Red Cross of Constantine St. Johns Conclave, Illinois York Rite College No. 15 OPC and the Allied Masonic Degree - Illuminati No. 295.

Memorial gathering, Saturday August 3, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. to time of Service 3:30 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, Il 60513.

Interment Private.
