Gerald "Jerry" Vidmont

Gerald “Jerry” Vidmont, age 84, of La Grange Park, formerly of Chicago.  Beloved husband of Georgia Vidmont, nee Nausieda; fond father of Jeffery (Shannon) Vidmont; dear grandfather of Ann Vidmont and Jane Vidmont; brother of Emily (Dan) Strezo; brother in law Shirley (the late Willie Hong) Nausieda and Helen (Mark) Hruban; uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Jerry had a passion for chess; a long time member of the Southwest Chess Club, he loved to pass along and encourage the strategy and skill of chess to future generations.

Visitation Friday, January 3, 2025 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513. A family service will be held at 6 P.M. during the Visitation.

Interment Private.
