We are so sorry to hear about Jerry's passing. Jerry and I were first cousins, born in the same year. In later years, we only saw each other at various family events, but it was always good to talk with him. Our sincere condolences to Kathy and family. John and Susan Biedron Mercer, Wisconsin

Jerry & I always enjoyed our conversations when we would meet at family holiday gatherings. He was a dear sweet man and I will miss him.

Our hearts are so saddened by his passing, but his suffering is now over. Jerry & I were high school classmates and then later connected through our good friends Bill & Ruth Gamlin who worked together. As young marrieds and throughout the years, we enjoyed many social functions together. All of us had some great vacation time together in Branson and Florida. Jerry enjoyed life and always had us laughing. He will be missed, but we'll always have fond memories of such a great guy and special friend. Love & prayers - Ed & Sharon

My memory of Jerry: A full head of silvery straight strands of hair belying a youngish tanned countenance which usually greeted you with a warm self-effacing smile. I first met Jerry in my early days at IH during the winter of 1981. Working in the basement blueprint area, Jerry was an affable, personable soul who was always available to help you with whatever need you might have. I think he eventually worked his way into the specifications department. I even remember my wife and I talking to Jerry and his wife over the phone about a vacation spot we were considering. If I'm remembering correctly, I think Jerry was only a year or two older than me. Anyone/everyone who met Jerry would have to like him.
