Condolences
My prayers go out to the Garen Lazier Family. Garen and I were in the P.E. & Health Division at Lyons Township High School - she taught PE and coached girls gymnastics and I taught health and was the athletic trainer for 29+ years. She was a caring coach to her athletes and I always had great respect for the way she treated both her PE students and her student-athletes. When we both retired in 2005, she and I received a Co-Curricular Booster Club Award. I have many fond memories of Garen in school and at social events outside of school. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to learn of Garen's passing. She was an amazing gymnastics coach and human being. She had so much joy in teaching all of us and she always expressed interest on how life after HS was going. Great lady! You will be missed!!!!

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my HS Gymnastics coach Garen . She was a great role model, organized, and always kind. She would send us flower grams or candy grams during a school sponsored event. She gave me an opportunity to work and coach the summer gymnastics camps. I had the pleasure to coach alongside her after I finished college. She went out of her way and took me shopping when I was having my 1st child. It was such a special moment as my mom had passed and she stepped in. She will hold a special place in my heart. My sincere condolences to Denis and the family.
