Frank Waner

Frank Waner taught me so much about molding processing and thinking outside the box when difficult situations arise. HE was a wizard in the plastic field especially hot runners. Looked forward to picking his brain whenever I could and he helped make me a better processor. He will definitely be missed by many and he provided many laughs throughout his years at Phoenix. Frank was a fine person and a brilliant man. Frank was the smartest person in our company when it came to operating and maintaining hot runner molds. HR molds are very complex. Frank taught classes in HR design and operations at Phoenix Closures. His work raised the sophistication of Process Specialists in the company with the result being Phoenix manufacturing became far more efficient. He began teaching at the Naperville plant, then provided the same education in Davenport and Greencastle. He will certainly be missed and remembered fondly by his friends and coworkers at Phoenix Closures. Bert Miller Past President
