Carol Hanen

Carol Ann Hanen, nee Regnier, age 81, of Lombard, formerly of Woodridge and Brookfield. Beloved wife of the late William Hanen, Sr., of 54 years; loving mother of Brad (Dawn), Barry and the late William Hanen, Jr.; devoted grandmother of Justin (Brittany), Kendall, Katie, Kyle, Jack and Bode Hanen and Conner Krisher; sister of the late Richard Regnier; sister in law of Janet (the late Jerry) Laurent, Julie (Kevin) Puetz and Connie Sheppard; loving aunt to her nephew and many nieces.

Carol was proud of her dedication to Hauser Junior High as their Secretary and often assisting in the Library. She was an avid bowler and a dedicated Bridge Club player. Carol was active in St. Mary’s, Riverside and Christ the Servant, Woodridge. She was known for her cooking; especially her famous potato salad. Carol’s family, friends, neighbors and grandkids will always cherish the time spent together at the Hanen Lake House.

Visitation Friday, September 6, 2024 from 3 P.M. to time of Service 7 P.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.

Interment Private St. Anne Catholic Cemetery, St. Anne, IL.
