Agatha “Aggie” J. Steinke, nee Mancuso, age 87 of Oak Brook Terrace formerly of Westchester. Aggie passed on June 4, 2024 from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. She fell in love and married the love of her life William “Bill” L. Steinke (deceased) on September 11, 1955. She was a devoted mother of David Steinke, Michael (Victoria) Steinke, Mary (Steve) Rathke and Laura (Danny) Novak; a grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 13; sister of Anna Marie (Duane) Dehnicke; aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Aggie’s family would like for her to be remembered for her infectious smile that would light up a room. Retired from Second Federal Savings and Loan after holding the titles of Bank Officer and Branch Manager. Aggie loved her friends, had a generous spirit, loved to host and especially loved to cook for her family.
She will be remembered with great admiration for a life well lived.
Visitation Friday, June 7, 2024 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. to time of Service 9:30 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.
A live stream of the Service will be available to viewed at https://www.memorialslive.com/Aggie If you are unable to participate during the live stream a recording will be available to be viewed at anytime and downloaded at the same link by day’s end on Monday.
